Read from January 03 to 16, 2013
If you like Rothfuss or Sandersen you should know that
Anthony Ryan has similar qualities and talents and therefor i highly
recommend it to all of you!
Blood Song, certainly has it all: great coming of age tale, compelling character, and a fast-paced plot. You can find here all of the action, tragedy, love, and depth you want in a great fantasy novel.
It is a story of the main character growing and becoming a man of legend, it doesn't have the feeling of a repeating story told many times in the genre where a young boy with good heart becomes most powerful hero inn the realm and wins over all evil. The story was very mature and dealt with subject matter that makes the reader think. There are many well built, complex characters and the world building is fantastic.
This is definitely my first favorite book of year 2013!
Thank you Predrag for recommending it to me :)
